My thinking behind this is that People are always going to want something on their clothes and since a lot of the styles, especially in shirts and jeans these days, harken (anyone get that word?) back to the Punk fashions of the late 70’s and 80’s, cuts sewn in, tears, over printing, etc, lots of text that LOOKS subversive but actually SAYS ABSOLOUTELY FUCKING NOTHING OF ANY WORTH WHAT SO EVER. Great design ideas but completely DEVOID of any SUBSTANCE.
VISUAL FUCKING NOISE!
Anyway (takes valium and breathes deeply), getting a collection together for use on shirts etc, figured it’s better to have a shirt that ACTUALLY DOES say something SUBVERSIVE rather than pretending, i.e. Rebel without a Clue. Time to start fighting fire with FIRE and counteract the PROPAGANDA
This to be printed on grey, sewn on the inside of a black T-shirt that then has the front cut away to reveal the message underneath. For those that don’t know what a RED STAR stands for (to me at least)
, try here, here, and here
Cheers Kiddies
p.s. Don’t tell me “le” is supposed to be “la”, “le” is female and yes it’s done on purpose. Contrary to what a lot of knuckle dragging Alpha Males seems to think, not everything has to do with your ****
Internationalist government is the real enemy, not corporations (unless they're internationalist such as the ones that participate in outsourcing and off-shoring to enemy nations).
Ha, I can't believe I've only just come across this one!
I can't really see it on a shirt, but it makes a damned good graphic. Can I ask your permission to use this in Unzine (or a revised version if you'd like...) ?
