Heh, exactly! Punk is more a state of mind (haha) than an easily packaged, sanitized product for the masses. Sure, if you want to dress "punk," that's cool, but it's not what punk is about. It's not overpriced, oversized pants... it's rebellion. I think at this stage of its "life," punk is in desperate need of dirtying and reinfection, as you would put it. There's so much crap, and so many posers... I don't care if people became punks late in the movement, it's the people who claim they're punk but don't care about the ideas behind it that bother me. The people who just dress that way because it's "cool," the people who don't even realize there's anything more to punk than fashion and Blink 182.

Glad you liked it. Had the idea years ago, before I was into digital art, of a music note with spikes, i.e. punk.

The text just comes from seeing corporate ****stains try to sell the world it's own s**t back over and over again, without ever thinking about what it really means.
