Here’s a novel idea for anyone in a position of, for arguments sake, an admin on an art site:
If you don’t agree with a political idea that someone puts forth using their art, instead of deleting it and pretending there were other reasons, just accept their right to free speech and go about your day INSTEAD of abusing the tiny little bit of power you have and corruptly deleting. Deleting art because you don’t like it’s message is called an ABUSE OF POWER and is the sort of thing people LOSE that tiny bit of power for.
I will state once again for the record, ALL FACIAL IMAGES CONTAINED IN THIS ART ARE VECTOR DRAWINGS, TRACED FROM PUBLIC DOMAIN PHOTOGRAPHS THAT MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC AND MEMBERS OF THE PRESS HAVE SUBMITTED. A TRACED PHOTO OF A PUBLICLY OWNED IMAGE MEANS THAT THE IMAGE IN NO POSSIBLE WAY INFRINGES COPYRIGHT SINCE:
A. THE INDIVIDUAL THAT TOOK THE PHOTO HAS GIVEN IT OVER TO THE PUBLIC AND,
B. AN IMAGE USED AS INSPIRATION FOR ANOTHER IMAGE, THAT IS NOT THE IMAGE IT’S SELF, IS NOT A LEGAL INFRINGEMENT OF COPYRIGHT.
C. All LOGOS ARE PARODIES, NOT THE ACTUAL LOGOS THEMSELVES, THEREFOR NOT AN INFRINGEMENT.
See, wasn’t that simple? When we understand the rules for living in a free society then we all benefit, it’s only when some of us decide we’ll twist those rules for our own benefit, profit and gain, or to suit our own little narrow views of the world that democracy ends, freedom dies and we all end up rolled up into someone elses big selfish ball of shit, hence causing unrest, dissatisfaction, social decay, civil disobedience, anarchy and, ultimately, REVOLUTION . . . . .
